1,190kg of opium discovered in southern Iran

The intelligence forces have discovered and confiscated 1,190 kg of opium in southern Iran, Bushehr intelligence office announced on Monday.

The consignment has been found in two separate operations in Bushehr and Kangan.

During the operations, several smugglers were arrested and two cars were also busted.

The smugglers wanted to transfer the shipment to central provinces.
