12th Cinema Verite opens in Tehran

Tehran, The 12th Iran International Documentary Film Festival, known as Cinema Verite, was started in Tehran's Charsou Cineplex on Sunday.

Eight German, five French, five Italian and five American films are among the films expected to be screened in the Cinema Verite.

Russia, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and India, each have three films to be screened in the international film event.

Polish, Greek, Danish, Turkish, British, Austrian, Swedish and Finnish filmmakers have also attended the event with two documentaries.

This is while, Brazilian, Spanish, Hungarian, Czech, Croatian, Irish, Mexican, Australian, Qatari, Uzbek, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Tanzanian, Hongkongese and Nepalese filmmakers have participated in the Cinema Verite with one film.
