2 foreigners seized with 35 kg of heroin in central Iran

Kerman,About 35 kilograms of heroin worth about $250,000 was found with two Afghan nationals, said narcotics inspector in Kerman Province, central Iran, on Wednesday.

'The detainees carried the loads of heroin into Iran from eastern borders, and then distributed them in other provinces,' said Moslem Qezelbash.

Qezalbash said that the two detainees used foreign-made instant messaging applications for marketing.

Iran as the country neighboring Afghanistan and Pakistan is considered the transit road for drug-traffickers. Many Iranian soldiers lose their lives every year in the campaign against the ominous phenomenon.
