2,000 liters of smuggled fuel seized in W Iran

Custom officers discovered and seized a cargo of 2,000 liters of smuggled petrol in Bazargan border point in western Iran, the country's Customs Administration announced on Thursday.

Using an X-Ray machine, the customs officers found additional fuel in the container of three Turkey-bound trucks and prevented the commodity from being smuggled out of the country.

Fuel smuggling has recently increased in Iran and customs officers have thus far managed to seize several shipments of fuel.
