3rd resolution on Syria vetoed

Tehran The US and the UK voted against a Russian drafted resolution on the alleged chemical attack that is said to have happened in Syria.

The United Nations Security Council failed to pass a resolution to scrutinize the alleged chemical attack in Syria.

The attack entailed field research in Douma area, which is said to have been attacked.

The resolution got five ayes (Bolivia, China, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan and Russia), four nays (France, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States), and 6 abstentions (Cote d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Peru, and Sweden).
