400 explosive containers discovered in Northern Iraq
Tehran, According to Iraqi Interior Ministry, 400 explosive containers were discovered west of Mosul, northern Iraq.
According to Iraqi media 'Alsumaria News', Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman General Saad Maan in a statement said Nineveh City police has found these containers in Hayeltonk, west of Mosul.
He did not refer to more details on volume and the kind of explosives.
Mosul liberation operation started on October 17, 2016, and Iraqi security forces recaptured eastern Mosul on January 2017.
Raqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on February 19 declared start of liberating west of Mosul.
Finally, Iraqi forces announced full liberation of Mosul on July 10, 2017.
