50 Iranian medical knowledge-based companies exporting goods
Tehran, The export statistics of Iran shows a 250% increase under President Hassan Rouhani, and 50 knowledge-based companies export their products, said the Iranian minister of health.
'It is the first time that the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) machine has been produced for analysis and separation of raw material, poisons, and medicinal compounds,' said Hassan Hashemi in the unveiling ceremony of the machine.
High-performance liquid chromatography is a technique in analytical chemistry used to separate, identify, and quantify each component in a mixture.
Regarding the quality of the products, he said, Iranian products should be better than or, at least, equal to the foreign ones.
He also said that Iran suffers shortage in some areas, so those products should not be exported.
Iran's Deputy Health Minister for Research and Technology Reza Malekzadeh said in the ceremony that Iran could become first among the Islamic countries in producing science.
Malekzadeh added that the machine that was unveiled today is among the ones most-frequently used and Iran has imported 40 to 50 sets each year.
