52,000 spectators watch Iran, Morocco football match in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg, Some 52,000 watchers looked on Iran and Morocco football match in 2018 World Cup held in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The game ended with Iran 1 and Morocco 0 hours ago in St. Petersburg stadium.

Iranian players demonstrated a far better performance during the game compared to the earlier minutes.

The 2018 World Cup started on June 14 in a ceremony attended by dignitaries from various countries.

The first half of the game ended without goal while in the second half Aziz Bouhaddouz scored own goal in stoppage time (93) to give Iran the first victory and the three points at the World Cup since 1998.

Iran will play against Portugal and Spain later in 2018 World Cup.

This is the second consecutive time that Iran advances for the World Cup.
