540,000 tons of basic commodities stored in Shahid Rajaei port
Referring to the basic commodities cleared from Shahid Rajaei port, Alireza Mohammadi Karajiran stated: Since the beginning of this year (March 2020), one million and 650 thousand tons of basic commodities have entered the country through Shahid Rajaei port, which is foreseen to reach 2 million tons by the end of the year (March 2021)
He added: rice, wheat, oil, soybeans and corn have the largest share of imported basic commodities to this port by 35 ships this year.
Pointing that currently 540,000 tons of basic commodities have been stored in this port and ready to be transited, Director General of Ports and Maritime of Hormozgan noted: In addition to private sector warehouses, we have utilized 18 more warehouses to store goods, of which10 warehouses is specially allocated for the storage of basic commodities.
