60th Naval Fleet of Iran berths in Muscat
Tehran, The 60th Naval Fleet of Iran’s Navy comprising Bayandor destroyer, Lavan and Bushehr vessels berthed in the Omani port of Sultan Qaboos.
Iran’s Ambassador in Muscat Nouri Shahroudi delivered a speech at a diplomatic ceremony attended by the ambassadors and military attaches of other countries in Muscat, and members of the embassy and institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the deck of Lavan, saying, ‘The relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman have become very important in terms of cultural, religious, geographic and historical backgrounds, and these relations have been expanded day by day.’
He added that these relations in the military and defense sectors are also being pursued through the establishment of a joint military friendship committee, as well as the meeting of military and defense departments in a satisfactory manner.
It should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran at this crucial moment in the history will never compromise with the bullying powers, although it has constructive engagement with other countries, the nuclear deal is an example.
