7 Saudi military vehicles destroyed at border with Yemen
Tehran, Yemeni forces destroyed seven Saudi Arabian military vehicles at the southern borders of Saudi Arabia Saturday, According to Almasirah TV channel.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), quoting Almasirah, reported Saturday night that the Yemeni army and popular committees destroyed the vehicles in Najran and Asir operational regions, south of Saudi Arabia.
The Yemeni forces also prevented the advance of mercenaries of the Saudi army in Asir operational region, killing and wounding scores of them including a number of Sudanese nationals.
In March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies including the United Arab Emirates launched an aggression on Yemen in a bid to return to power deposed Yemeni president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi. Riyadh and its allies have made no military achievements through their aggression except for turning the impoverished country into ruins.
Some 14,000 Yemeni civilians including women and children has been killed in the Saudi-led coalition aggression against Yemen.
