All Iranian Hajj pilgrims back home
Tehran, The last group of Iranian Hajj pilgrims returned from Saudi Arabia to Iran on Sunday so that the story of this year's annual Hajj pilgrimage came to an end, according to Head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Hamid Mohammadi.
Mohammadi made the remarks speaking to reporters, noting that some 86,000 Iranians had attended this year's annual Hajj pilgrimage.
The youngest and the oldest Iranian Hajj pilgrims this year were 2 and 113. respectively, the official said, adding that nearly 12% of the Iranian pilgrims were above 70.
Last year some 33 pilgrims lost their lives for old age during annual Hajj, while the number of fatalities reduced this year to 10, Mohammadi said.
