Ansarullah Spokesman: UN not fulfilling promises
Tehran, Chairman of Yemeni delegation to Geneva talks Mohammad Abdul Salam said that the UN has so far failed to fulfill any of its promises to facilitate the return of wounded and Yemeni people abroad.
He wrote on Twitter, 'The United Nations has not fulfilled its promise to provide the facility for the return of wounded and Yemeni people abroad until now, but has responded positively to requests from aggressors. However, their transfer with the national board aircraft is normal and humanitarian.'
The head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council on Monday ordered the formation of a national delegation representing the Republic of Yemen in the Geneva talks headed by Mohammed Abdul Salam.
The Yemeni organizing committee for rallies announced a protest rally in front of the United Nations headquarters in Sanaa for the second consecutive day.
The protesters shouted slogans calling for a counteraction to the depreciation of the Yemeni Rial against the dollar and food prices.
The Yemeni protesters considered the hunger of people as a war crime, calling the United Nations 'responsible for the hunger against the Yemeni people.'
On April 6, 2015, Saudi Arabia began a massive assault on Yemen, the poorest Arab state, in a coalition of several Arab countries with the help and green light of the United States, on the pretext of restoring Mansour Hadi, the incumbent president of the country, to power to pursue its goals and policies.
Saudi aggression in Yemen has already killed more than 14,000 innocent Yemenis and ruined the country.
