Ayatollah Raisi visits semi-finished 96-bed Hospital in Pishva, Varamin

The President visited the semi-finished project of the 96-bed Pishva Hospital, which has been under construction since 2009.

Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, who has travelled to Varamin city on Saturday morning to continue the Popular Administration’s travel plans to Tehran province, visited the semi-finished project of Pishva’s 96-bed hospital.

The executive operation of this medical unit in order to cover the population of 150,000 people in Pishva city has started since 2009 and so far it has had less than 25% physical progress.

During his visit, the President stressed the need to complete the hospital as soon as possible so that people can benefit from its services, saying, “Given the high population and the situation in the area, the 12-year delay in the construction of this service project is not acceptable and it must be completed and put into operation quickly”.

Dr Raisi instructed the managers of Shahid Beheshti University, as the manager of the project, the Ministry of Health and the Tehran Governor-General’s Office to seriously pursue the issues and administrative permits, as well as to provide the necessary facilities for this hospital to be completed and put into operation as soon as possible.
