Azeri national dies for natural causes in NW Iran

Tabriz, An Azerbaijani national found dead near a northwestern Iranian city. He died for natural causes, said Governor-General of the city of Jolfa Sadeq Ahmadi on Sunday.

Jolfa is located some 130 km to the north of the provincial capital city of Tabriz in Iran's East Azarbaijan Province. Jolfa also borders its northern neighbor and namesake, the town of Julfa in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

'Mohammad Mousaov who has been reported missing by his family since July 21 left for Iran. According to his family, he had been mentally-imbalanced,' Ahmadi said.

'Mousaov's body was found near the city of Jolfa and delivered to the forensic medicine center', added the official.

According to Ahmadi, the body of the Azerbaijani national will be transferred to Azerbaijan as soon as the forensic medicine report is made.
