Baghdad denies remarks attributed to ambassador

Tehran, Iraq's Foreign Ministry dismissed the remarks attributed to his ambassador to Tehran concerning giving security alert to the Iraqi nationalities for visiting Iran.

A Saudi media based in London cited Iraqi Ambassador to Iran Rajeh Saber Abboud al-Mousavi as warning the Iraqi visitors about what it claimed the rise in murder and robbery in Abadan and Khorramshahr.

Iraq's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmad Mahjob in an interview with Alsumaria News Agency stated that the remarks attributed to al-Mousavi are baseless.

He urged media outlets to cite the news with authenticity and in a precise.
