Beijing not to let US isolate Iran: Chinese media
Beijing, China will continue to oppose US unilateral sanctions on Iran in order not to let the US, as it intends, to isolate the country, wrote the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on Wednesday.
China and its companies emphasize continuation of buying oil from Iran, and any attempt by the US to isolate Iran will be in vain.
The US has sent some representatives to different countries to stop Iran's oil export after November 4, but now China is resisting ardently against US efforts.
US Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Energy Resources Francis Fannon has visited Beijing for the same propose.
Bloomberg channel reported that China has been against the sanctions on Tehran and has increased its oil purchase from the country.
Bloomberg said that China has bought 35 percent of the Iranian oil export that shows Beijing opposition to the US sanctions on Iran.
Sanctions on Iran are contrary to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231 and the secondary sanction on those who buy oil from Iran is contrary to international trade laws, which has made countries react against them.
Some countries are now demanding the US to exempt them.
