Brussels, Belgium has expressed its support for recognizing Palestine as a full member of the United Nations.During a meeting with Riyad al-Maliki, special envoy of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib affirmed her country's wish to co-sponsor and endorse the resolution to that effect, which is scheduled to be voted upon on May 10.Lahbib urged the European Union to actively participate in this historical moment.Source: Saudi Press Agency
