Bell of Solidarity with Palestinian Children to be tolled
Tehran, A solidarity bell with Palestinian children and teenagers in Tehran's Quds High School was rung in Tehran.
The Bell of Solidarity with Palestinian Children was rung on Monday, the 1st of October, a symbial ceremony at the initiative of the Palestinian People's Defense Society and the collaboration of Quds News Agency with the presence of Palestinian activists and media representatives at the Quds High School in district 11 of Tehran.
On October 1, 2000, during the first days of the second intifada (the Al-Aqsa Intifada), a child image was broadcast on television channels that was scared to hide behind his father in order to avoid getting targeted by the Zionist army bullets. This 45-minute shocking event, captured by the French television network's photographer, was broadcast on the network and ended with the martyrdom of the child, the martyrdom that made Mohammed al-Darre symbol of resistance and the day of the innocent Palestinian children.
On this occasion, the Iranian parliament designated the day in the Islamic Republic's calendar as the day of solidarity and sympathy with Palestinian children and adolescents
