Bomb explosion kills 6, injures 7 in Afghanistan
Kabul, At least six civilians were killed and seven others were injured in an explosion of a roadside bomb in northern Afghanistan, a local source said Wednesday.
A car with the members of a family hit the bomb at 5:30 am local time, said Seyyed Nader shah, Police Chief in Sholgara district of Balkh Province.
The casualties include women and children, he said, adding that the wounded people have been transferred to hospital for treatment.
He also said that the death toll might rise.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident yet.
Also, Local sources in Parvan Province to the north of Kabul have said that a religious scholar had been assassinated by unknown armed men.
