Britain, Norway underline compliance with JCPOA, boosting cooperation with Iran

British and Norwegian foreign ministers in telephone talks with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed their and other parties' adherence to JCPOA and called for immediate implementation of the EU special mechanisms for keeping up economic collaboration with Iran.

According to Foreign Ministry's General Diplomacy and Media Center, Zarif discussed bilateral ties and JCPOA in separate telephone talks with his British and Norwegian counterparts.

The British top diplomat underlined his country's compliance with the JCPOA and urged implementation of Europe's special mechanisms for continued cooperation with Iran.

The Norwegian foreign minister also voiced support for the implementation of the JCPOA and mutual cooperation.

Danish police's claim about a Norwegian-Iranian citizen was another issue discussed on phone by the Norwegian and Iranian foreign ministers where Zarif called for all-out cooperation between Iran and European states for shedding light on the issue.
