British Foreign Office minister arrives in Tehran
Tehran, Aug 4, British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa Alistair Burt heading a delegation arrived in Tehran Friday to attend President Hassan Rouhani's inauguration on August 5.
World senior officials like Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, Lesotho King Letsie III, Republic of Ghana Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Hamas Movement delegation, Malayssian President Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Pandikar Amin bin Haji Mulia and Head of Portuguese Parliamentary Friendship Group are also in Tehran to attend the ceremony.
The swearing-in ceremony of Iran's re-elected President Rouhani is to be held in Iran's Parliament (Majlis).
Rouhani was re-elected for a second term in office on May 19, for another four years, sweeping over 23 million or 57 percent of the votes.
