Bulgaria calls for coop with Iran on labor issues
Tehran, The Bulgarian minister of labor on Tuesday expressed his interest in cooperation with Iran on labor issues, including deployment of Iranian skilled workers to the European country.
Minister of Labor and Social Policy of Bulgaria Biser Petkov in a meeting with Iranian Minister for Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei expressed his country's eagerness to cooperate on sharing experience in technical education, importing Iranian skilled workers, and the know-how and experiences of Iran in fields related to minimum wages, social security and labor unions.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 107th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva.
The Iranian minister on his part invited his Bulgarian counterpart to attend a conference on retirement that is going to be held in Iran in near future.
A memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation between Iran and Bulgaria will be signed by the end of this year.
