Caspian Sea Navy commanders meet to prevent alien presence in the area

Tehran, April 24, IRNANavy Commander Rear-Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said on Tuesday that the aim of a meeting between navy commanders of the Caspian Sea is to prevent aliens presence in the area.

He made the remarks at the closing ceremony of the 6th Indian Ocean Naval Symposium in Tehran.

On holding navy commanders' meeting for the Caspian Sea littoral states, Khanzadi said the meeting will be held in the direction of convergence to establish security in the Caspian Sea.

Another goal of the meeting is not to allow any insecurity from abroad in the area and not let any trans-regional forces to enter the region.

The rear-admiral said during the meeting that five members are to attend, three of whom are present and possibly another two countries will attend the meeting at the level of military attache.

The 6th Indian Ocean Naval Symposium held its 2-day meeting here in Tehran in presence of 35 high ranking military delegations.
