China’s president extends condolences to Iran on plane crash
Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday extended his condolences to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sad occasion of crash of the country's plane with 60 passengers and 6 crew members on board.
In a message to President Rouhani, Xi expressed his deepest condolences to the Iranian government and people on behalf of the Chinese people, according to the country's state-run news agency Xinhua.
An Iranian passenger plane of Asseman Airlines hit Dena Mountains, 120 km from Semirom, Isfahan Province, early Sunday morning. The debris of the plane has not been found yet, but all 66 people onboard are feared dead in the tragic incident.
