Lieutenant General Muhammad Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, received, at the Ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital on February 12, 2024, Ambassador Abdel Aziz bin Ali Al-Sharif, the Ambassador of the State of Algeria in Cairo, to discuss ways of joint cooperation in the field of civil aviation.The meeting discussed a number of topics of common interest in the field of civil aviation, including: Discussing mechanisms for activating air traffic to encourage more tourist and commercial traffic between Egypt and Algeria, as well as studying the possibility of opening new routes between the two countries.Source: State Information Service Egypt
