Civilians Leave Southeast Aleppo Neighbourhood
Syria's government captured new neighbourhoods around the city centre and helped some 200,000 civilians into a shattered and rapidly shrinking opposition enclave.
Civilians were evacuated by army officers from the Sheikh Lutfi neighbourhood south east of Aleppo.
Sheikh Lutfi is one of several neighbourhoods reported to have been recaptured from rebels by the Syrian army, AP reports.
The country's army, which is in the midst of an offensive to retake what was Syria's largest city, have continued to regain neighbourhoods in eastern Aleppo.
