Cleric highlights Iran, Turkey close views on Western avarices
Tehran, A senior Iranian cleric stressed the close views Iran and Turkey hold about West's hegemonic policies and said Tehran managed to foil enemies' plots thanks to the assistance of such friends as Turkey.
In a meeting with the Turkish ambassador to Tehran Derya Ors on monday, Representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Hajj and pilgrimage Organization Seyyed Ali Qazi Askar stressed that Iran managed to foil the conspiracies of enemies in the region with the alliance of Turkey and Russia.
He believed that the shared positions of Iran and Turkey against the Western avarices, the Palestinian issue and the issues of the Islamic world have strengthened the ties between the two countries, especially in political and economic areas.
He also pointed to the crimes of ISIS in Syria, Iraq, and some European countries and the spread of Islamophobia by the enemies, and highlighting the present sensitive situation in the region, and said given the fact that some countries are using their own money to create sedition in the countries of the region, strengthening and using the facilities of each other must be a priority.
The senior cleric further expressed that President Donald Trump's lies have undermined US authority and stressed that world countries will not follow the current American policy of imposing sanctions against Iran.'
He stressed that Iran and Turkey can work together to uproot terrorism in the region.
