Commander: US ships pass route specified by Iran in Persian Gulf

Tehran, Commander of the navy force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said the US ships pass the route Iran has determined for them in the Persian Gulf.

Fadavi told a seminar on naval organs that the Supreme National Security Council has specified waterways in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman for the ships of the US and six other countries.

He said the Islamic Republic of Iran has defined a waterway for foreign and American ships in the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz and Sea of Oman in conformity with its right of sovereignty so that they will pass the line and they have not yet violated the rules.
