Commerce chamber playing vital role in IranChina
Beijing, The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in China emphasized that the Chamber of Commerce of the Iranian expatriates of Shanghai can play an important role in the private sector as well as in the two countries' trade ties.
Mohammad Keshavarzadeh said at a meeting with members of the Iranian Expatriates Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai on Tuesday that given the current state of affairs and recent developments in the relations between Iran and China, the presence of a coherent Chamber of Commerce from Iranian businessmen in China is increasingly important.'
The Head of the Iranian Expatriates Chamber of Commerce in China also commended the Iranian Ambassador's presence in Shanghai, adding that his visit was a milestone in removing barriers for Iranian businessmen.
Hossein NejadSafari evaluated as significant the status of the Chamber of Commerce as a single and active room for the further expansion of trade and economic relations between Iran and China.
Subsequent to the meeting, chairman of the Iranian Expatriates Chamber of Commerce in China presented a report reflecting trade barriers between Iran and China, such as banking, transportation and customs. In the course of the meeting, these issues were debated and discussed.
