Countering Zionist regime requires ironing out differences
The former Iranian representative to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) told the 12th Security Conference in Amman on Wednesday 'The Zionist regime is our first enemy and we should set aside differences to counter Zionism.'
Ali Asghar Soltanieh added that the issue of Palestine is not an Arab issue; rather it is a human and global issue, as it is a matter of the uttermost importance to Iran.
We have asked Persian Gulf littoral states to talk on forging ties, especially in the economic sector, but we have received no answer, he said.
The 12th Jordan Security Conference attended by representatives from 39 countries was held in the University of Jordan in Amman.
