Croatia supports Iran Deal: Minister
Tehran, Croatian Minister of Labor and Pension System ?Marko Pavic said his country supports Iran nuclear deal and along with other EU members is committed to the accord.
Marko Pavic made the remarks in a Wednesday's meeting with Iran's Minister for Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabei on the sidelines of the 107th session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva.
Croatia wagon manufacturing companies are interested in repairing train wagons in Iran, he said.
Both sides also agreed on allocating $10 million for development of mutual cooperation, he added.
The Croatian minister referred to banking problems as an impediment to trade between the two countries.
He expressed hope for development of mutual cooperation in oil, gas and petrochemical fields based on relevant documents signed by the two countries.
According to Pavic, some Croatian ship making and plastic firms had negotiations with Iranian side on transfer of technological know-how.
Rabei, for his part, quoted Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif as calling for establishment of a joint commission by the two countries.
He referred to railway, wagon repair, petrochemical industry, oil and gas as areas of cooperation between Iran and Croatia.
Iranian minister pointed to the agreement signed by the two sides on production of medicines.
