Diplomat: JCPOA marks multilateral diplomatic success
Madrid, Iran's Ambassador to Spain Mohammad-Hassan Fadaiefard said that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) marks multilateral diplomatic success and a model to solve other crises.
Fadaiefard in an article, entitled 'Iran, 39 years later', that was published in El Mondo daily on the victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, said millions of Iranian people held rallies in all Iranian cities and villages on February 11th to celebrate the 39th anniversary of Islamic Revolution, thus renewing allegiance to the political system stemming from revolution.
He said that the Islamic Revolution shocked all political analysts and triumphed with the motto of independence, freedom and Islamic Republic. Since then, the Islamic Republic no longer served as regional gendarme to protect interests of powers, rather theorized modern regional order which of course faced resistance of the dominant powers and their regional allies, Fadaiefard added.
He commented that opponents of the Islamic Republic were the countries and regimes that lost their regional domination and illegitimate interests in Iran or considered the freedom and independence seeking teachings of Islamic Revolution contrary to its despotic sovereignty principles.
