Dodgers’ Ryu Hyun-jin Earns Season’s Third Win
South Korean pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin of the Los Angeles Dodgers has earned his third win of the season against the Cincinnati Reds.
The left-hander allowed two earned runs and eight hits over five innings as the Dodgers won 10-2 against the Reds on Saturday at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
Ryu earned his first win since defeating the Miami Marlins on May 19. With the latest win, he lowered his earned run average from four-point-42 to four-point-35.
Ryo told reporters after the match that it was a difficult game and that he tried to limit the damage by not allowing too many hits in a row, adding he thinks he did a good job in that regard.
