Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla and Bulgarian Minister of Energy Rumen Radev signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the natural gas sector.The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the inaugural meeting of the Joint Cooperation Committee between Egypt and Bulgaria.The signing ceremony was attended by Sameh Shoukry, Foreign Minister of Egypt, and Maria Gabriel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.The objective is to establish a comprehensive structure that fosters collaboration in natural gas operations. This includes advancing scientific, technical, and technological partnership between nations, and sharing knowledge and best practices for natural gas extraction, storage, transportation, and liquefaction.It also calls for the creation of a joint working group comprising of experts and technicians from both sides. This group will work together to hasten the implementation of executive measures for the areas of coope ration.Source: State Information Service Egypt
