Major General Hesham Amna, Minister of Local Development, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Local Development and Resala Charity Organization to provide the necessary support to the neediest categories and women in different governorates. The signing of the protocol on behalf of the Ministry of Local Development was attended by Major General Osama Gad, the Deputy Minister, and Dr. Sherif Abdel Azim, Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, in the presence of Dr. Essam Shaat, Assistant Minister for Local Administration, and Major General Ahmed Arafat, Head of the Performance Evaluation, Follow-up and Inspection Sector.The Minister of Local Development pointed out the important role that the association plays in supporting charitable and volunteer activities for people of determination to enable and support them in facing emergency situations, noting the concern that the ministry pays to implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to the gov ernment and the concerned authorities and institutions in the state to support our children with special needs by providing all support to them and their families, developing their skills, raising their efficiency, providing services to them, integrating them into society, empowering them with all basic educational, medical, and recreational services, and spreading awareness of their rights.He added that, in accordance with the protocol that was signed, the Ministry will coordinate with the governorates to grant licenses and facilitate procedures to allow the association to hold Challenge Day events next December 6th for people of determination in parks affiliated to the local administration in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria, as well as allowing people of determination, their families, and the association's volunteers to visit and hold parties inside the parks of the governorates (Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria) for free, except for holidays and official holidays throughout the year 2024.Res ala Chairman Sherif Abdel Azeem extended thanks to Amna over the Local Development Ministry's support for the charity through ongoing and fruitful coordination to serve the state's development plans.Source: State Information Service Egypt
