Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s ambassador to Russia said in Moscow on Thursday that a large Russian trade delegation will visit Iran in the very near future.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Ambassador Kazem Jalali said that the Russian delegation is comprised of the heads and managers of various industrial and trade companies and heads of chambers of commerce of different republics and provinces of the Russian Federation, who will meet their Iranian counterparts in this visit.
“The delegation is meanwhile comprised of over 100 Russian economic activists, headed by the Head of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industries Sergei Katyrin,” he added.
Jalali said that it has been arranged that the Russian trade delegation will during its visit to Iran in addition to meeting with the Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Gholam-Hossein Shafei and a number of Iranian government officials related to economic and trade field, will have bilateral meetings with different Iranian industrial and commercial unions.
The Russian Chamber of Commerce delegation will in this visit to Iran in addition to their meetings in Tehran, visit commercial and industrial units, factories, and townships in Isfahan and Gilan provinces and particularly focus on the capacities of the Iran part of the North-South Corridor.
