Expanding intra-Asian tourism a priority
Hamedan, Secretary-general of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) said, 'The expansion of the intra-Asian tourism is one of the priorities of this forum and we are pursuing this important goal.'
Bandit Limschoon said on Monday at a press conference at the 'Hamadan International Tourism Conference 2018', 'Why do we travel to the United States and other continents while there are many tourist destinations inside Asia? If the cooperation of Asian countries is successful, we can achieve our goals.'
Describing tourism as an important issue for Asia, he explained, 'Half of Asian countries, such as Thailand, Cambodia, Korea and Iran, have many tourist attractions.'
Secretary General of Asia Cooperation Dialogue said that Asian countries, in addition to tourism, have a significant share in sending tourists.
Limchun emphasized, 'The expansion of intra-continental tourism is in the interest of Iran, because it can be designated as the tourism destination of the entire world to attract tourists from different countries'.
