Explosive device blast kills 1 civilian in Homs

Tehran, A civilian was martyred and two others were injured in an explosion of an IED left behind by terrorist organizations in Talbeisa town, about 13 km to the north of Homs city, Syrian media 'SANA' reported.

An explosive device from the remnants of terrorist organizations went off while three young men were carrying out maintenance work in the vicinity of their house in the town of Talbeisa, killing one of them and seriously wounding other two.

The two injured were rushed to Karm al-Lawz Hospital in Homs city.

Homs, previously known as Emesa or Emisa, is a city in western Syria and the capital of the Homs Governorate. It is 501 meters above sea level and is located 162 kilometres north of Damascus.
