FM Zarif: Eid alFitr radiating unity among Muslims
Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister in a message congratulated the arrival of Eid alFitr, and said it is radiating unity among Muslims.
Eid alFitr, one of the most important festivities in Islam, is the first day of Shawwal month. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
Meanwhile, President Rouhani, on Tuesday in separate messages to the leaders of Islamic countries, congratulated them on the occasion of Eid alFitr, and emphasized that this occasion is the manifestation of unity, solidarity and consolidation of social ties between Muslims.
In the meantime, Iran's First Vice President Eshagh Jahangiri also in separate messages to his counterparts congratulate Eid alFitr.
Jahangiri expressed hope that this occasion will be the manifestation of unity and solidarity among Muslim nations, and said, "I hope we would witness the eradication of oppression and the continuation of lasting peace and stability in the world, especially in the Muslim world."
