FM Zarif to visit Africa, South America
Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, heading a high-profile politico-economic delegation, is scheduled to start visits to some African and South American countries on Sunday, Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
Zarif is to hold talks with political, economic and parliamentary officials of Senegal, Brazil, Uruguay and Namibia, Bahram Qasemi said.
Iranian FM is also to attend bilateral economic meetings in these countries and to deliver speeches at research centers, he added.
Scores of officials in economic, financial and knowledge-based fields from state and private sectors will accompany Zarif during his trip.
