Former FM Spox appointed as Iran’s ambassador to France
Tehran, On suggestion of the Iranian Foreign Minister and the approval of the President, Bahram Qasemi was appointed as Iran's new ambassador to France.
Qasemi served the spokesperson and head of the Foreign Ministry's Center of Public Diplomacy and Media from July 2016.
The former Spokesman in his career served in such positions as the head of the Second Political Office, the head of the Commonwealth Department, the Director General of Western Europe, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ireland, Spain, Italy, as well as the accredited Ambassador to the Malta Republic and as deputy research director of International Researches Department at the International Center for Strategic Research for several years.
