Hamas calls for trial of Israeli military leaders at ICJ
Tehran, The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has called for the Zionist regime's top military commanders to stand trial at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague.
'Policies of the Occupant Regime [of Israel] are criminal terrorism acts', said Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem according to a press release by Palestinian media Ma'an on Friday.
'The Occupant Regime has trampled underfoot all the international laws and principles, Qasem said, referring to the killing of a 12-year-old teenager during 'The March of Return' a chain of protests held by Palestinians on Friday.
Qasem also touched on the assassination of 30 children and teenagers since the start of the March of Return rallies on March 30, 2018, by the Zionist army and stressed, 'They intentionally shoot at children'.
In the last edition of the protests, named 'Resistance; our only choice', 251 Palestinians were targeted by the Zionist fire with three Palestinians killed, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Starting on March 30, the March of Return is held every Friday in Gaza, the West Bank, and other Palestinian cities.
Since the beginning of the March of Return demonstrations, a total of 172 Palestinians have been killed and 19,000 more injured.
