Hamas: Israel seeking new crises in Gaza
Tehran, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhum referred to the fact that Israelis are after creating new crises in Gaza Strip, saying Resistance will not let Zionist regime turn Palestine to its election campaign.
According to Turkish media, Barhum, in his statement, announced that Israel is attempting to create new crises in Gaza by escalating military attacks.
The Israeli fighter jets conducted extended attacks on Gaza Strip under the pretext to claim that two missiles were fired from Gaza.
The attack has so far injured a Palestinian couple in Rafah.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army spokesman Afikhai Adrei announced that the army has targeted about 100 positions belonging to Hamas in Gaza.
Barhum also referred to Israelis' air attack on Gaza as another crime against Palestinians, saying Zionists are accountable for the consequences of escalating attacks on Gaza Strip.
The 50th round of the 'March of Return' protests was held in Gaza Strip on the occasion of the International Women's Day last week.
The great 'March of Return' rallies culminated on May 15 to mark what Palestinians refer to as the Nakba, or Catastrophe, a reference to the forced removal of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages to clear the way for Israel's establishment in 1948.
The mass Friday demonstrations have continued since then.
Since the protests began on March 30, Israeli forces have martyred at least 260 Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave and wounded about 27,000 people, according to health officials in Gaza.
