Hezbollah issues condolences over death of Yemeni top official
Tehran, Head of the Administration of Public Broadcasting Corporation in Kyrgyzstan said she is keen on buying Iranian TV series and feature films for broadcasting in her country.
Zarema Kolkombaeva made the remarks on the sidelines of the 36th edition of Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) currently underway in Tehran.
Referring to the situation of film industry in Kyrgyzstan, she added that the Kazakh film industry usually imitates Russian cinema because most of Kazak directors have studied in Russia.
She also added that the Iranian cinema has achieved many success not only in Iran, but across the globe.
Presided over by writer-director Reza Mirkarimi, the 36th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will continue until April 27.
The event organizers expect to receive over 300 special guests from around the world, ranging from filmmakers to screenwriters, actors to activists.
A host of A-listers is legendary Italian actor Franco Nero and influential American film director Oliver Stone.
