Dhaka, The Makkah Route Initiative in Bangladesh has harnessed highly qualified Saudi cadres to assist pilgrims, bringing immense joy to their faces. Pilgrims from Bangladesh have benefited from the initiative's services, completing their travel procedures in record time after obtaining Hajj visas and meeting health requirements. Additionally, luggage is coded and sorted according to transportation and accommodation arrangements in the Kingdom before being transported directly to their residences in Makkah and Madinah via dedicated routes. Competent authorities handle the delivery of luggage to their homes.The Ministry of Interior is implementing the Makkah Route Initiative for the sixth year through the initiative's lounges at 11 airports in 7 countries: Bangladesh, Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Ivory Coast. The initiative has contributed to providing high-quality services to 617,756 pilgrims in their home countries since its launch in 2017.Source: Saudi Press Agency
