Stating that the recent floods, which affected 24 provinces, was unprecedented in the last 100 years, President said, People, government, armed forces, relief agencies and all organisations did a great job.
Speaking on Wednesday in a meeting with ministers executive managers and members of the parliament, President Hassan Rouhani said, We need to use hightech facilities to forecast the weather more accurately.
He went on to appreciate all managers around the country for their hard work in addressing the floods in provinces.
He said, To address the problems, everyone was working round the clock.
Relief workers did a great job and were extremely devoted to address the problems and this was very valuable, said Rouhani.
He also went on to say that despite all its problems, the heavy rainfalls had good achievements for the country.
Preventing foreign aid from entering the country in these hard conditions is an unprecedented crime, continued Rouhani.
