In his Farsi language tweet, the Indian prime minister wrote that his talks with President Raisi were on a broad spectrum of various issues, which were all related to the expanding friendship with Iran. He wrote that the talks were in such fields as energy, trade and connection paths.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit was held on September 15-16. This year the SCO summit is held in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand city. It is the first in-person summit after the 2019 Bishkek summit in Kyrgyzstan.
