Int’l Union of Muslim Scholars opposes normalization of ties with Tel Aviv
In a statement, issued on Thursday, the International Union of Muslim Scholars opposed normalization of relations with the Zionist Regime of Israel and said Palestinian issue would remain the main focus of Muslims.
The statement was issued at the end of the fifth meeting of International Union of Muslim Scholars, that was held in Istanbul, Turkey, in which 1,500 scholars from 80 countries had participated.
The statement emphasized that Quds is subject to judaization and the Zionists repeatedly attack Al Aqsa Mosque, trying to apply a time and space division policy.
Quds issue is religious, historical and civilized in nature, as Quds is considered as the heart of the Islamic Ummah, and none of the Zionist plans can change the fact that Quds belongs to the Arab and Islamic Ummah.
The International Union of Muslim Scholars asked the Arab and Islamic governments and all the people's institutions to undertake the responsibility for their actions toward the sacraments of the Islamic Ummah and the normalization of ties with the Zionists is firmly dismissed.
The statement added that Muslim scholars consider resistance to the occupation as a legitimate right as is pointed to in all the divine religions.
