IPC lauds Iran’s Nat’l Volleyball Paralympics team
Tehran, IRNA - The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) described Iran's National Volleyball Paralympics Team as the proudest among 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games participants.
According to IRNA from the National Paralympics Committee, as less than 40 days remains till the official opening ceremony of the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games, the official website of the country’s Paralympics Committee has in a survey ranked the various participating teams in those games.
One of the most popular and most attractive sports in Paralympic competitions is volleyball, in men’s section of it, eight teams from Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, China, Egypt, Germany, Japan, Iran and Russia will be competing this year.
The National Men’s Volleyball Paralympics Team with its six gold medals is the world’s proudest team in its field as since the 2000 Sydney Paralympics it has been participating in entire final matches versus the second best team, from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Iranian team has meanwhile two silver medals, and in its ninth presence in Paralympics it has the greatest chance for ranking first in the world for the seventh consecutive term.
